The total number of passengers carried by local airlines in quarter 4, 2007 was 156,770 in the 567,123 thousand kilometers performed. Compared to the previous quarter when the total number of passengers carried was 169,860 in the 648,751 thousand kilometers performed, this is a decrease of 7.7 per cent in the number of passengers carried and 12.6 per cent in the kilometers performed. Compared to the previous corresponding quarter when the number of passengers carried was 161,851 in the 607,032 thousand kilometers performed, this is a decrease of 3.1 per cent in the number of passengers carried and 6.6 per cent in the kilometers performed.

The seats kilometers available for quarter 4 was 1,203,444 thousand kilometers while it was 1,289,669 thousand kilometers in the previous quarter and 1,385,872 thousand kilometers available in the previous corresponding quarter. The passenger load factor has decreased from 50.0 per cent in the previous quarter to 47.0 per cent in this quarter.

The total number of passengers carried in quarter 4 2007 was 45,451 in the 6,706 thousand kilometers performed. Compared to the previous quarter when the total number of passengers carried was 46,902 in the 6,238 thousand kilometers performed, this is a decrease of 3.1 per cent in the number of passengers carried and an increase of 7.5 per cent in the kilometers performed. Compared to the previous corresponding quarter when the number of passengers carried was 54,057 in the 10,928 thousand kilometers performed, this is a decrease of 15.9 per cent in the number of passengers carried and 38.6 per cent in the kilometers performed.

The seats kilometers available for quarter 4 was 11,260 thousand kilometers while it was 11,117 thousand kilometers in the previous quarter and 21,705 thousand kilometers in the previous corresponding quarter. This is an increase of 1.3 per cent from the previous quarter and a decrease 48.1 per cent from the previous corresponding quarter.

The passenger load factor increased from 56.0 per cent in the previous quarter to 60.0 per cent in this quarter.

The total revenue tonne kilometer performed in Quarter 4, 2007 was 65,950 thousand tonnes with a 152,679 thousand tones kilometers available. Compared to the previous quarter when the total tonne kilometer performed was 80,504 thousand tonnes with a 170,010 thousand tonnes kilometer available, this is a decrease of 18.1 per cent in the total tonne kilometer performed and 10.2 per cent in the tonne kilometer available. Compared to the previous corresponding quarter when the total revenue tonne kilometer performed was 71,071 thousand tonnes with 175,566 thousand tonnes kilometer available, this is a decrease of 7.2 per cent in the total tonne performed and 13.0 per cent in the tonne kilometer available.

The load factor decreased from 47.0 per cent in the previous quarter to 43.0 per cent in this quarter.

The total revenue tonne kilometer performed in this quarter was 641 thousand tonnes with a 1,942 thousand tonne kilometers available. Compared to the previous quarter when the total tonne kilometer performed was 591 thousand tonnes with a 1,919 thousand tonne kilometer available, this is an increase of 8.5 per cent in the total tonne kilometer performed and 1.2 per cent in the tonnes kilometers available. Compared to the previous corresponding quarter when the total revenue tonne kilometer performed was 1,025 thousand tonnes with a 3,088 thousand tonne kilometer available, this is a decrease of 37.5 per cent in the total tonne kilometer performed and 37.1 per cent in the tonne kilometer available.

The load factor increased from 31.0 per cent in the previous quarter to 33.0 per cent in this quarter.

The total number of passengers carried by local airlines compared to the previous year decreased from 628,578 to 618,932 (1.5%) in international flights and decreased from 213,717 to 177,969 (16.7%) in domestic flights.

The total revenue tonne kilometers performed compared to the previous year decreased from 284,402 thousand tonne kilometers to 281,442 (1.0%) thousand tonne kilometers in international flights and from 3,692 thousand tonne kilometers to 2,467 (33.2 %) thousand tonne kilometers in domestic flights while the total tonne kilometers available has decreased from 666,882 thousand tonne kilometers to 632,191 (5.2%) thousand tonne kilometers for international flights and from 11,805 thousand tonne kilometers to 8,068 thousand tonne kilometers (31.7%) for domestic flights when compared to the previous year.
