Building Statistics shows the number and value of permits and completion certificates issued during a period. The information is compiled using data supplied by the City and Town Councils.
- A total of 290 Building Permits for construction work valued at $126.9 million were issued in the September quarter of 2025.
- When compared to the June quarter of 2025, the number of Building Permits issued increased by 2.1 percent and the corresponding Value of Works decreased by 36.4 percent.
- When compared to the September quarter of 2024, the number of Building Permits issued increased by 1.4 percent and the corresponding Value of Works decreased by 15.6 percent.
