This release provides marriage statistics from the data recorded by the Civil Registration Office at the Fiji Ministry of Justice from 2016 to 2024. In Fiji, marriages are legally recognized unions between two individuals, typically governed by the Marriage Act1. Marriages can be either civil or religious, and the requirements, processes, and legal framework for marriage are overseen by the Fiji Registrar General’s Office1.
