  • Total Fiji - 837,271
  • iTaukei - 475,739
  • Indo Fijians - 313,798
  • Others - 47,734

International Merchandise Trade Statistics - September 2019fbosicon2

Provisional data for September 2019 was :

  • total imports $512.5 million
  • total exports $213.6 million

Compared to September 2018, total imports and total exports increased by $37.3 million (7.9%) and $0.2 million (0.1%) respectively.

Provisional Visitor Arrivals -  October 2019fbosicon2

Provisional numbers show that visitor arrivals for October 2019 totaled 77,467, a decrease of 2.0% compared to a year earlier.

The visitor arrival  by country and number were as follows;

1) Australia –  with 33,739 visitors
2) New Zealand –with 19,024 visitors
3) United States of America – with 8,428 visitors
4) China –  with 3,189 visitors
5) United Kingdom –  with 1,164 visitors

The All Items CPI for the month of November registered an increase of 0.2 percent over October 2019 [113.9] and stands at 114.1.

Details of price changes between October 2019 and November 2019 by expenditure class are as follows:
