The result of the 2019 Industrial Production Index (IPI) re-weighting exercise are presented in this release. The new weights are based on data gathered from the 2019 Census of Mining & Quarrying, Manufacturing, Electricity and Water. The IPI measures the changes in levels of local production from the perspective of the producers.
