This is to inform the general public that the Fiji Bureau of Statistics headquarters in Suva will be closed for the holiday period from Monday, 29 December 2025 to Friday, 2 January 2026, inclusive.
Please note the following arrangements:
- The Household Survey Division in Suva, Nadi, Ba and Labasa will remain operational with skeleton staff during this period.
- However, ALL offices (including the Household Survey Division and Regional Offices) will b closed on Thursday, 25 December 2025 (Christmas Day) and Thursday, 1 January 2026 (New Year’s Day).
Data Request and Service Deadlines
Request for data,statistical services, or approvals should be submitting by 4:00 pm on Tuesday, 23 December 2025 to allow adequate time for processing.
Any requests submitted after 23 December 2025 will be attended to after Monday, 5 January 2026. We therefore encourage all clients, stakeholders, and data users to plan accordingly and submit their requirements ahead of time.
